The annual "Fourth on the Lake" celebration will take place Saturday, July 4, from 3 to 10:30 p.m. in downtown Phelps and on North Twin Lake.

The festivities begin with the grand parade at 3 p.m., followed by a cornhole tournament at 3:30 p.m., a boat parade at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.

Additional activities include a bounce house and slide, dunk tank, food trucks, a beer tent operated by the Phelps Fire Department and raffles throughout the afternoon and evening. A $1,000 cash raffle drawing will take place at 7 p.m., and 50/50 raffles will be held throughout the day. Advance registration for the cornhole tournament is required and will close before July 4. Live music will be provided by Burton Tyler from 3 to 6 p.m. and Nolium from 7 to 10 p.m.

The grand parade is open to businesses, organizations, marching groups, vintage vehicles, UTVs and other entries. No registration is required. Participants should gather on Town Hall Road by 2:45 p.m.

The boat parade is also open to all boaters, with patriotic decorations encouraged. Boats will travel around North Twin Lake, passing through downtown Phelps before ending near Dublin Sports Bar & Grill. Participants should meet on the water near the Millerville Boat Launch behind the Phelps Convenience Center by 5:45 p.m.

The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display hosted by the Phelps Fire Department. Spectators may watch from boats on the lake or from the shoreline.
